My name is Keith Johnson and I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and to thank you for visiting my website.
I am 50 years old and live on the Isle of Wight with my wife Carolyn who I have been married to for 18 years.
My interest in photography goes back to my childhood.
My older brother was always a keen photographer and still is.
I was in a camera club at middle school where I had my first taste of darkroom developing.

Several years ago I entered the world of the DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera, after I spotted a Golden Eagle in a glen in the Highlands and my compact camera just couldn't cut it. I vowed then to return to the Highlands with a DSLR attached to a long lens! and since then I have trained, studied, practiced and even taught others and my wife and I return to the Highlands every year to try to photograph this elusive apex predator.
This website is the direct result of peoples interest in my images and allows me to display my work in an organised way.
I get equal pleasure from landscape, seascape, portrait, wildlife, sports, action, event and architectural photography.
I am fortunate enough to live in one of England's most picturesque spots, The Isle of Wight or 'The Garden Isle' as it's often referred to.
'Recording the light' as it interacts with the subject(s) is as inspiring as it is humbling for me.
Being able to celebrate what my camera sees with others is truly remarkable.
I am passionate about my photography, and am mindful that I will never stop learning.

Best wishes,
Keith Johnson
